Official Plug-in's

Post » Tue Feb 25, 2014 6:02 pm

Hello, i really would like to install these plugins:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Official_Plug-ins

Or at least this one:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Master_Index

But this line worries me:

The vanilla versions do have some small bugs, so it's recommended you use versions edited by modders. They can be found on most of the mod sites.

Any good places to have these mods patched?

Personaly i use:

Morrowind Patch Project

Morrowind Code Patch

MGE XE

Pretty much all of them have GMSTs that should be cleaned with TESAME or similar, and there's http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42482 for the Master Index to use the updated journal stuff from Tribunal.

You can search for Official Fixes on MMH and search for Official Plugins on Nexus I think.

That's not a fix and AFAIK the official Master Index plugin aren't a Tribunal independent mod, so I consider it to be a separate mod with some modifications I don't recognize.

Master Index - readme

*****************************************************************

The Elder Scrolls III
MORROWIND:
Master Index Plugin

*****************************************************************

Index:
1. Installation
2. Playing the Plugin
3. Save Games

*****************************************************************

1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
directory.

UPDATE: This plugin has been updated to version 1.2.0722 of Morrowind.
You will receive a master file/plugin incompatibility error when
run with prior versions, however, it will run properly with the 1.1.0605 patch.
A sound bug exists when run with 1.0 release.

*****************************************************************

2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box
next to the master_index.esp file.

Folms Mirel tells you how to find the ten propylon indices. In return
for all ten propylon indices, Folms Mirel offers to make you a single
Master Index. With this Master Index, the player can travel to any
propylon chamber, or return to Caldera Mages Guild from any propylon
chamber.

*****************************************************************

3. Save Games

*****************************************************************

Official Plugins will not invalidate your old saved games. If you save
your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages
when you reload the saved game without the plugin. But, you will be
able to continue on with the original game.

WRT gamesas's Master Index plug-in, be aware that there is at least one mod that includes the Master Index. I don't remember exactly which, but I think it's either Wilderness Sounds or Atmospheric Sound Effects.

Wilderness Sounds  Also, Super Adventurers includes it and there're couple of compilations of all the Bethesda mods out there.

I'd recommend the ones linked to by Ashtaar.

For the LeFemme armor, I really recommend this one: http://www.wolflore.net/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1833

Adds more armor to complete the sets. (including male)
