Some questions regarding my new character

Hey guys. I'm currently working really hard on a my new character for Skyrim. His name is Durzub gro-Yargol, and I'm doing my absolute best to make him my most immersive character yet. As I adore Skyrim, and wish to experience everything it has to offer. (As I haven't yet.)

Question one: Can I mix and match heavy and light armours? If so.. What perks should I get? I don't plan on Enchanting either.. So I'll be quite weak in that regard. I plan on using dragon masks I find in tombs, so I want to be able to mix and match armours.

Question two: Can a brutal psychopath still be interested in the return of the dragons? If you've read my fanfics for this guy, you know his temperament. I want him to be a barbarian, searching Skyrim for old and forgotten relics. But I also want to learn the lore with this guy as well, but I don't think it will fit? So how can I make this guy study the lore, but still be a savage brute?

Question three: Living off the land? Where can I find a bed for the night? As I'm a huge fan of the extra XP, and also the immersive feeling I get from sleeping. I don't want to resort to waiting under a tree.

Thanks very much! This is a character I want to be really attached too, and I also want out learn the lore of Skyrim and the dragons with him, without making him anything them resembles a scholar. Tricky I know...

You can mix and match armor, all the perks would be good as usual (just going to take a long time to get them)

Yes and no, he may be interested in what items they have hoarded and hidden... as well as considering them a nuisance to deal with

Living off the land, you'll have to rely on bandit/hunter camps mostly. I'd look for more map marker mods that show them so you have them (or use the abandoned/ruined farm/homes)
