What was Bethesda thinking...

...with the mock Scandinavian accents for the Nords in Skyrim? If they wanted to mark the Nords being inspired by the Norse, that's fine of course, but at least then shouldn't they have been consequent and had the Imperials use mock Italian and the Bretons mock French accents too?

Most Nord women are voiced by a Swede, though.

Beth did it better with Skyrim than other companies do with say shows.. "Hi, I'm inga and I'm from sveedun" Like wtf? That is not how we talk at all.

Funny thing is, on the radio I heard a guy talking with a very strong French accent today, on my way to work, and only thing that came to my mind was, " This guy sounds like a Khajiit ! "

Brynjolf I can handle but Delvin sounds like his nose is constantly stuffed, lol.

And his accent, is it cockney?

There's that one voice actor who sounds Irish. I think one might be genuine.

*with a lot of wonderment and confusion* "I heard they were reforming the dawwwnguarrrddd"

I hate when that woman says that. I just do. She sounds like a mild mix of confused and so bewildering surprised that I just I can't stand it when that line comes out of the ladies mouth.

Everyone who says that to me gets immolated by Remlius. He just doesn't give two [censored]s about da dawnguard. He then drags their body off into the woods to perform deadric and demon worship. Using their bodies as sacrifice.

The Bretons in Oblivion actually spoke British English, IIRC
