Too few beard options!

Post » Wed Feb 26, 2014 12:49 am

Now, I don't want to sound like that guy that's like "oh but why can't it be more like Skyrim? Skyrim was good" - because quite honestly, the game is an MMO, and should function as an MMO. However,... In World of Warcraft, Swtor, Guild Wars, etc. there were plenty of normal-looking beards and full beards to choose from, and what the male demographic here in ESO gets is basically three categories: A weird, square-looking full beard, small patches of spiky hair, or a few stubbles. The nord race has a beard that makes you look about a lobster (with long, braided moustaches) but that aside, there's not really a lot of options in the department, especially not for bretons.

I get that they want to go for a unique feel... but in previous Elder Scrolls games, it was clear that people had normal forms of facial hair and head adornments, so why are we so restricted to these options? And what do you think?

I agree. They should make it a seperate option with a slider.

I would also love to have more hair-modells....especially race specific. I think some more would be cool...

More hair and beard options are always good, especially for Nords.

character creation is good but it needs to be more dramatic in the body morphs or at least more accessories or adornments and facial hair being separate, for female there needs to be more variety in hairstyles also, i understand the races have different styles but so many ppl are going look the same

That's the thing with your avatar, Netherstorm - it is literally the only full-beard option there is, and it looks really weird... I mean, why not have normal looks, like this:

Etc?

Yeah you got it, only one option. Im wearing a Beard similar like those on pics in real life but more a salt and pepper version. My GF admires it, but ingame i couldnt recreate one like i was able in skyrim. a bit more options would be very nice.

I want, no i demand to have a manyl beard ingame too! ;)

Why no beards for the ladies either? What if I want to recreate one of my dwarf girlies from LOTRO using a bearded wood elf or orc?

Just kidding. I'll be playing my usual ES characters. Rosie and Posie will remain in Middle Earth.
