Khajiit Vampires?

Post » Wed Feb 26, 2014 11:32 am

I'm almost to the end of my current war priest character. On my next playthrough I'm thinking about a Khajiit, simply because I've never played one. I'm gonna stick to the traditional stereotypical Khajiit build (thievery in the beginning and graduating to assassin.) I would however like to go in a more evil route, perhaps joining the Volkihar. I'm wondering how many of you play or have played a Khajiit vampire and what would the justification of one joing the Volkihar be?

I was initially going to become a vampire with my current Khajiit character as it seemed to suit quite well, however, Khajiit look pretty damn atrocious as vampires now with Dawnguard, the eyes aren't particularly nice and the dusty-looking pale fur isn't particularly nice either, but they're not so bad compared to the hideous and downright goofy-looking elongated fangs that protrude down almost to your jawline. Looks pretty silly.

if you don't mind the sabrecat teeth, not so bad (especially if you usually play in first person and don't usually take screenshots)

See ive heard people complain about the way vampires look since the addition of Dawnguard. Like how the nord women get the split line on their lip. Honestly that doesnt bother me. So i think this may work for me.

I should also state that I play on PS3 so no mods.

If any of you have pics of your vampiric Khajiit id love to see.

Not to mention that it's very subtle in comparison to the split line on male vampires.

Subtle is good. It didn't bother me before so I know it won't this time. Thanks

You trade a silly looking red lip line on humans for silly looking fang incisors ;)

Argonians look even worse as their fangs are all crooked and their skin becomes pale which bothered me as my Argonian had beautiful dark skin perfect for prowling the night.

Khajiit are natural sneaks so Vampirism fits like a glove, especially if you play the kind that preys upon people sleeping.

Are you saying that you can't see the changes? You can't see that your fur which was once dark grey/black is now white and your nose is a pretty pink? It's the same sort of pigment change that Argonians go through yet it makes even less sense for them as their blood already runs cold so being "dead" shouldn't make their skin so pale...actually it shouldn't affect Khajiit fur either; damn devs sticking to stupid movie stereotypes where they don't belong.

Nope, mean the way other races go through stage 1-4 vampirism

With more obvious changes to their features to show they haven't fed recently or in awhile

Actually has screenshots at the bottom, mine just show it doesn't matter what the original color fur is. it'll be the white one in the end

Yeah I don't know if I'm liking the protruding fangs. I'll give it a go and see how I like it when the time comes.

That one looks better than mine did, as mine had very, very dark fur, and I think it simply switches the colours rather than fades them, so selecting dark colours and then suddenly having a bright white face with dark fur elsewhere on the body was pretty strange.

I've made a Khajiit vampire before. If you choose the eyes with the round pupils, they will change to the ones with funny reptile pupils. You'll also grow fangs, which are absolutely adorable on a cat. And your skin will get much paler. I say give it a try, you can always get cured.
