I'd say, though, that Tiber killed Cuhlecain. Also, that's pretty nasty for a guy to arrange for the murder of his two closest compadres just so that they would know Love.
I'm still figuring this out for myself, but my immediate thought was that viruses and preachers are really similar actually. Its just the connotation that's different.
/wonders if alphabet virus
Serious though, there ain't nobody who can convince me that Tiber and Vivec aren't terrible terrible people.
I guess, if being terrible on Nirn is somehow a bad thing..
So why did Jubal call him a virus in the first place?
The Sack of Senchal was pretty bad, although maybe more attributable to General Pottreid than himself, who, if our timeline is correct, was either spending most of his time in the capital or campaigning in Skyrim.
And of course the Aldmer will never forgive the Siege of Alinor.
Hjalti, Wulfharth and Arctus all shared the same soul.. they can betray each other all they want .
Do we know what Tiber Septim forced Barenziah into an abortion either?
Seconded. Heck, killing a bunch of people is the way "great" leaders make the history books on this planet; when your reward on Nirn is godhood (and the people being slaughtered on that planet aren't even "real," at least by certain measures), there's almost no reason not to be completely psychopathic in service to one's own ambition (other than self-preservation, and clearly that was not a problem for folks like Vivec and Tiber Septim).
Is it psychopathic or sociopathic? I want to say "both," but I don't really know the technical definition to either one, so I could be reaching here.
Sociopaths basically go to great lengths to hide their pathological nature and are fairly good at it, whereas psychopaths are less inclined to be deceptive for the sake of appearances, rather than their own gain.
So, i'll go with sociopaths, since both Tiber and Vivec wanted to be adored.
