Dead Money = Waste Of Money

Lol I love how people bash cod, yet they sell and make millions. The $ is what they want, not the fans.

Back on topic: I did not like the dlc too much. It was one of those you start and HAVE to finish rom there. It couldn't have been spread around the wasteland or at least in a populated new area. Instead you have green ghouls all over the place. And the constant bugs. i swear, I doubt it when poeple sy they play this without any. The ending of it only gives you caps you can't take with you, and even if you do, YOU CANT SPEND THEM. So anyways...

I do have a fav. of it though. The holo rifle=kool.

(koolaid rifle=epic.)

Yo I walked out of there with 742 pre war money and 3 gold bars. I could have got another gold bar or 2 if I would have dropped every thing.

I didn t even try going back in the Madre after the escape.

Always turn in your Madre chips to the hologram cashier for pre war money before leaving the Madre.

Please do because that is not a convincing argument. How could they just change the gameplay there are tons of games out there that havent changed the gamplay for a long time and are still successful.

On line people spawn all over the map. l shoot someone and two seconds later that same guy spawns behind me. COD 3 no........Even though COD 3 had multiple spawn points you could still spawn trap opponents. Maps got too small and compressed. You can no longer kill each other at the same time. The introduction of "kill streaks" coupled with the other stuff took the emphasis away from thinking, and cause and effect and turned in into a merri-go-round of Michael Bay explosions. COD will crash and burn soon enough and I ll be there to spit on its grave.....

Sorry to get off topic here......

The story was great i give obsidian that. but sorry yes i found it annoyin since i couldnt "run and gun" with my character that is meant to do that. i mean he has 15 sneak. my stealth character run throught the dlc was alot better. i jus hate that dead money doesnt give u options to finishin the quest and gettin through it, i mean the only "choice" in the dlc was how u dealt with Elijah (and still then u had to be stealth to do the one option).

You had options with all the followers..... I for 1 am glad it didn t have 47 different flawed endings like the main game. I left there actually knowing pretty much what happend. You can run in the main game, but there isn t much gunning. Dead Money made me feel in danger in a different way.

Great job on Dead Money Obsidian. Punch me out a few more like that.

yeah i actually like how the story was very focused but when i was talkin about options i was meaning different ways to get around the place, yeah the followers helped but it wasnt lik u got to hav them the whole time. u only got to hav them til u took them to their spots and that was the end of that, inside the casino is was solo from there.

i was more wantin lik say if ur a stealth build u can go a certain way to get to the end while a more direct character could go another route to get to the end, DM only gave u the stealth route.

Sorry you feel the way you do, but Dead Money maybe one of or the best Fallout DLC's to date.

bigcrazewolf

That I disagree with. Personally I felt like it was Operation Anchorage 2.0. The first half was good. The second half was just dragging on, I was ready for it to be over. However, that is not to say I didn't like it. It had some nice selling points, it was different from the standard gameplay, and they had some bits that took advantage of some of the lesser aspects of the engine, like jumping. That all said, personally, I found much more entertainment in Mothership Zeta over Dead money. But I just love space sci-fi more then post-apoc.

Every Fallout DLC thus far has merits for which they are recognized, good and bad, and it boils down to personal opinion. Obviously this guy did not like Dead Money.

on hardcoe outside stealth was to only option, I was just walking with 33 hp and if a ghost person got a critical with a throwing knife spear I was dead. In the Madre I hear you. The super mario bros stuff at the end annoyed me a little, but the rest was so good I can t complain.

Dead money is a complete waste of money. Why would I want to run around a small area thats filled with nothing but bear traps. Seriously, couldnt you think of something else? This is what happens when you beat a 10 year code to death with the same thing over and over.

Whats different from this and new vegas, NOTHING. What is the justification of not including this in the original game? They want more money.

Bethesda is pitiful and becoming EA in a lot of ways. Nothing new and innovative for a hard core gamer.

Bioware is destroying Bethesda.

This DLC is only a few hours, only 2 new monsters (pitiful) with a stupid drawn out story that nobody cares about.

I will NEVER buy another game from Bethesda for as long as I live.

Just wait and read the reviews of this garbage. Its garaunteed the critics are going to scream FOUL PLAY!

I love this DLC bro..why don't you go play call of duty or something instead of trying to turn people a way from a great DLC. This just obviously means you have no idea how to play this, and you shouldn't be posting in the forums if all you're going to do is flame it.

The timed jumping and all that with ways to die while you re doing it
Reminded me of super SM Bros.

It annoyed me slightly, but like I said I liked to rest so much I can t complain.
