Rhinos of Skyrim 1.0

by Viltuska

Rhinos of Skyrim adds ten spawn points for woolly rhinos to the Whiterun tundra. This mod is also a modder's resource which means you can use and edit the contents of this mod freely as long as you aren't a [censored] and you give proper credit.

Issues
None really. The attack range might have to be adjusted. The skinning could be better, sure. But I had to work with the cow skeleton so this is the best I could come up with since this is also my first custom creature. If you have the energy to create an improved version based on this, go ahead. I fried my nerves with the skinning part so I'm pretty much done with this.

FAQ

Q: Why don't you make the model and the texture a bit better. This uses the cow skeleton? Really?
A: Look, I busted my ass to figure out how the NIF export/import business works. I mean there's really no tutorials out there that take you through the process

Q: But it's your mod so it's your responsibility!
A: Well, it's your liberty to make a better version if you have the energy. Or hire some other buffoon to do it for you.

Q: Did you just call me a buffoon, pencil neck?!
A: No, I was referring to the guy you would hire. And I know you're actually socially handicapped twelve year old living in Wyoming, so you can stop threatening me.

Q: Okay we got off on the wrong foot. Why don't you make a cool rhino mount like in the Age of Conan!
A: That's not a bad idea. However, when is it going to end? Next you want me to create Safari in Skyrim mod or a birthing animation for the rhino.

Q: Hey, that's not a bad idea ... Anyways, you should really make it so that the rhino loses it's horn when you loot it's inventory. And how come the rhino uses mammoth and cow sounds? That totally breaks immersion for me!
A: Look you sweet prince of Maine or Wyoming or whatever.. If the mod doesn't hold up to your standards then leave it. I'm open for suggestions but as one man team I have my limits, okay. Now prance off and go download that 'Hentai *bleep* furry *bleep* Otaku-San forehead-strap-on armor' that's on the front page!

Cleaned with TES5EDIT
Uses no scripts. Doesn't touch the leveled lists. Should be compatible with almost everything.

And now to the the most important part, the images:

These are really nice in-game. They feel as though they belong in Skyrim.

Great work!

Thanks for the feedback! The giraffes are coming soon, but first I have to finish the purple hippos.

On a more "serious" note, I'm thinking of trying to create this fella here:
