The only thing that bugs me is that the character doesn't move their head. It would be nice if the character would look at an NPC or PC within a certain distance. It would really give life to the character rather than having them staring straight ahead. It's especially nice when talking to npcs or other players in game.

Other than that I think the Animations look great.

In general animations are below what we should see in a game in 2014, but I understand that it's being affected by pvp and technical limits it forced on artists. The scale of battles is so huge that anything more detailed/sophisticated would destroy most PC's and pvp would be unplayable. This would be no fun. It is a compromise and I got over it, I can live with current animations, there is more stuff to be excited about than just graphics in ESO. I'm not gona vote I think it's pointless.

I absolutely hate the running animations. It's like they're trying to hop or something. And the way they swing the one handed swords is ridiculous, it's not tight at all, it's almost a full 360 arc, breaks my immersion.

Combat animations could use some work. Melee combat animations, the bow and spells are fine.

The npc animations can be more fluent. But i find them acceptable. The lip and mouth movement when the NPCs are talking is the only thing i can call bad.

If you've ever played LOTRO however, you'd see these as minor flaws.
