whats with Childrens shows these days?

Post » Sat Mar 01, 2014 4:39 pm

So, I was looking after my nephew and niece a little while ago, and while they were watching some Cartoon I realized, why have Childrens shows degraded so much over recent years?

I as a kid used to Watch "The Littlest Hobo", and that was a great show that could be enjoyed by all ages..
but Childrens Shows these days are nothing but a poor attempt at bad humor...

opinions?

People have been saying that about cartoons since their invocation in the early years of movies then television.

Well, there's those pones that are supposed to be amazing, and I'm sure that there are some other nice children shows out there as well, but yeah I've seen some [censored] up children's shows as of late and I don't like it; children nowadays should watch the stupid [censored] we watched when we were young instead.

Not all cartoons push boundries you can have age appropriate toons if you monitor them. What teens watch I would never let my 3 year old watch. Great selections on Netflix btw.

A reflection of the times.

"We are all special and equal"
"Violence is never funny, and pie throwing is violent"
"Everything should be politically correct"
"Sadness is something you only experienced while smiling"
"Learning should be done at the lowest common demonimator so everybody has a chance"

My child isn't even 3 and yet I've already planned all the things I will teach him that are unconventional and maybe some of those things this [censored] nerfed society thinks too extreme.

Mostly it's the writers. But mainly it's the producers and the suits upstairs with the PC police.
