Ok I have the following issue:
After replaying Fallout 1 and 2 over the christmas holidays I now decided it is time to revisit Fallout 3.
So I reinstalled it and started it up. I logged into Games for Windows live within the game (as I did on every reinstall of FO 3 up to the last time I played it in 2012) went to my profile, clicked on "my downloads" to have the GFWL client startup and get me my DLCs which I payed 50€ for back in the day.
Only to find that the client does not start and says it could not connect to the service.
A google search revealed the fact the the service was tewrminated by MS apparantly ...
Just great!!!
So can anybody tell me how I can get my DLCs that I payd good money for?
Is there a workaround?
Can I contact Beth's support for them to send me a Got Editionm Steam Key to resolve the issue??
In short: Fallout 3 original german Steam Version (NOT GotY and NOT Collectors), DLCs bought from Games for Windows Live (only way to digitally get them back then), how do I get the DLCs as of today with the suspended GFWL service?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
