Anti Aliasing Compatibility Flag (Nvidia)

Post » Sun Mar 02, 2014 5:58 am

I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a custom flag that will enable sparse grid anti aliasing or another type of AA for ESO. I have tried the usual flags, like 12C1, 10C1 and F0C1 using Nvidia Inspector and most of them hard lock the game when launching.

I know ESO is such a heavily modified Hero engine that the reality of it is it's almost a custom engine at this point but I have tried every swtor flag and have run out of ideas.

I did also change from d3d11 to d3d9 in the ini file.

I have also tried to use an SMAA injector and SweetFX and nothing at this point works. I have scoured the web also for a solution and have yet to find one.

ESO would look 10x as good with better anti aliasing options.

Outside of the game there are flags that will enable the use of other anti aliasing, which ESO really needs. The game looks decent now, it will look absolutely fantastic with SS.

Considering its not true fullscreen but rather borderless maximised (ie its going to be issues with crossfire, SLI, Nvidia/AMD forced driver settings, anti-aliasing, multi-monitor setups, Shadowplay and a whole slew of graphics card related things) you may as well forget it about it for now.

The fact that they dont have true fullscreen in a modern 2014 game is completely mindboggling - especially since the menu says "fullscreen" but Zenimax are just straight out lying to your face.

Its one month left to release and I'm going to be very surprised if this change now.

Now that answers everything. Why would they do that? No wonder nothing is working.
