been fighting him for about 15-20 mins now. i stun him it does [censored] all he just runs to the lava at each end and restores his health. npc does jack all to help and can only stun once every few mins. how am i supposed to beat him?

The NPC's aura gives you magicka, and use your totem (E) when it flashes so you can stun him and prevent him from going back into the lava. Also, I don't think they designed him to be a solo quest- this is meant for a group or at least two people, so you can pour damage on and take turns using your totem to stun him.

try to save your totem to stun him right after he gets out of the lava. It should be back up to use again before he gets to the other lava pit. Also if you are not dps heavy on this fight you may want to switch some skills out so that you are dps heavy.

tried it with a party. cant see any of my group members in the zone with balreth.

I soloed him. And these are not the beta forums.

But they are a place for you to at least attempt giving a useful reply..

slanderous as morgueanna said, keep trying with a party- I had issues with grouping too but when it works he becomes relatively easy. The hardest bit will be getting the group to work and people to join it...there really isn't any spontaneous grouping for what's supposed to be a "social" game, which is a shame for those of us who don't already know people who play MMO's.

Balreth is a joke all it takes is a bit of tinkin, if winny da pooh can come up with a solution then so can you cmon tink tink tink tink youll figure it out, honestly its VERY little strategy to come up with how to beat Balreth easily
