How to make "Fortify Enchanting" potion

Post » Sun Mar 02, 2014 6:37 pm

Hello,

I'm new to this game and have almost no experience playing any games.

I have Elder Scrolls V Skyrim on an Xbox 360.

I'm trying to make a "Fortify Enchanting" potion so I added; "Snowberries, Spriggan Sap, Hagraven Claw and Blue Butterfly Wing" to my inventory and opened the alchemy lab.

The only thing listed by the lab was "Resist Fire" showing the "snowberries" ingredient.

I've tried searching this site and the Web but can't find any answers.

I obviously have no clue what I'm doing so I'd appreciate any suggestions or clues on what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you!

try just using: blue butterfly wings + snowberries *wink* <--- select those 2 ingredients at an alchemy table, then select craft :)

Is that what it said on the potion as well when you made it? If your character had not explored that those ingredients have fortify enchanting it probably wouldn't be on the preview, but it should be on the final result.

look at this image. it shows an ingredients tab at the top of the list http://img.youtube.com/vi/4rqYCz1D40Q/0.jpg

There should be an ingredients tab at the top when you activate an alchemy table. go into that tab and select 2 ingredients.

The resist fire tab is there because you have learned an effect of an ingredient.

Thank you for the fast replies.

I don't know how to select an ingredient that is not listed ... I'll clear my inventory except for the two items you listed and see what happens.

Nice tip on the potion ingredients listed! I don't have that potion so I can't check the ingredients but I'll certainly use that in the future when I can buy one somewhere.

Thank you!
