First of all I'm not in Dominion but this makes game look imbalanced.

Let's start with Altmer, all of us who player TES games know that Altmer are damn good mages and like 80% of Altmer are sorcerers in ESO

Now Bosmer, they're supposed to be archers and nothing else

And finally Khajiit, some may play them with shield because of their cool look, but most of them will chose to be Nightblade.

They lack of tanks and hard dps's (dps with more hp, i.e dragonknight dps), so is there any way to fix this?

Sorcerer = OP

Bow Nightblades = OP

Khajiit racial buff = OP

Nah AD will be just fine. Probably be the most populated too. People always tend to flock to the more "evil" faction in MMOs.

uh, last I heard khajiiti where op for every melee character bcs of their racial.

How you know it will play out like this in the game.

1. Imperial.

2. Don't play stereotypes.

Nothing is stopping the races from playing a tank class. Another way to look at it, since every class needs magicka, is the Altmer can focus on defensive/tank stats while keeping a naturally higher magicka pool.

Tell that to other players.

Hey, look at it this way, if you do go tank-mode on Aldmeri, you will get instant groups whenever you want

How is the Dominion evil... if any faction is considered "evil" it would be the Ebonheart Pact. They have slavery.

Because of all the bad blood they get from Skyrim. People over the past several years have been led to believe the dominion is evil. Even though this is much further back in the past, it's still considered the "evil" faction. Like the Horde, the Empire, etc etc etc. Bad guys always get more numbers in MMOs.

Daggerfall Conventant - Good

Ebonheart Pact - Neither good or bad

Aldmeri Dominion - Bad

^ That's how most of people see it, but you chose who will be good and who will be bad.

Trust me, the aldmeri dominion had no trouble dominating the map on my pvp campaign. They slaughtered daggerfall and ebonheart.

No faction is bad. Aldmeri dominion isnt the Nazi group from skyrim either.

If anything ebonheart is good as they fight to protect their independence and to fight the daedra but still, not really. each faction is both good and bad

Oh God, here we go again with this OP-stuff war again...

Each faction is comprised of different races and different individuals. Trying to place labels is silly. I mean really, EP is evil because the games have mentioned slavery? Thinking that 1. Other races would be above slavery* and 2. That every individual in EP supports slavery is simply being naive.

*For what it's worth, pretty much every sizeable civilization in our own history has used slavery and/or abused the lower classes. Even the glorified ones, such as the Roman empire, was build upon the backs of slaves. People of every faction and every race have d-bags, no one is exempt.

On the other hand:

I'm kinda happy with these slight imbalances. If most people choose to play Bosmer as archers... Well, this is what Bosmer have always done. It may not be optimal, but it's in perfect agreement with the lore.

We've already seen that AD can hold its own (and more) in PvP, so I don't think there is a problem. I'm more worried about PvE and the difficulty with finding tanks to group with. I'm playing beta in EP and the zone chat is filled with people looking for healers - is it the same in AD? About tanks, I mean. Unless everyone is just looking for healers in every alliance, which wouldn't surprise me.

Aldmeri have the best racials, especially if you include Imperial for every faction.

Altmer have the best spell damage racials, and Khajiit have the best melee damage racials. The Dominion also has the only access to races with "stealthy", which is amazing in pvp.

I wouldn't worry about finding tanks or healers, racials wont make much of a difference for them. Min/maxing from stuff like racials matters a lot more for dps than for tanks. Besides, Imperials have great tank racials ;p

I think you should be more concerned about the other fractions ganging up on the Aldmeri dominion. It is kind of a marmite faction, you either love them or hate them.

I guess I haven't played enough ES to consider the Dominion any worse than the Empire.

Okay since the NDA is up ... this is my third weekend of play. I played Aldmeri all the way until half way thru this third beta. I tried Ebonheart and fell in love with it. There seems no difference at all in power vs pve. I am playing a caster and it all seems the same. The only thing I can tell you is that for players, the Aldmeri is way, way, way more populated than Ebonheart or Daggerfall. In fact, for population, I would put in this order, Aldmeri, Ebonheart, Daggerfall. Yes, I tried Daggerfall too. That place seems empty by comparison. Ebonheart is it for me...I don't care much about racials or good and bad alignment. Environment and population are the difference makers for me. So in answer to "Aldmeri is Kinda Weak?", I don't think it is weak at all, in any way. Despite the different races and bonuses, I trust Bethesda to create a fair and balanced playing field. This almost feels like DAoC all over again. That game was awesome for what it was.

CD seems to dominate all in my campaign. They even got 6 scrolls at one point.

If anything, the AD is the only good faction. They have the most peaceful races, and in case you dont know/remember your lore, none of them enslave or kill each other for sport.
