Hi guys,
So as of yet, I haven't been able to get into the beta, but I would like to start looking for a good build to play at launch.
Haven't really chosen a class yet, so I'm gonna try and make a build for each class and try them when I do finally manage to get into a beta
Starting off with DK (the class I'm leaning towards)
Race: Dunmer
Weapon Setup: 2h/Destruction Staff
Armor: 2 Light/5 Heavy (Open to change, just thrown down on paper)
Stat Distribution: 5 Magicka/5 Health/2 Stamina (Also open to change)
Two Handed
Ultimate: Magma Armor
Empowering Chains
Burning Embers
Cinder Storm
Dragon Blood (undecided on morph)
Undecided (Molten Armaments, Igneous Shield, Unstoppable, Flame Lash, Spiked Armor)
Destruction Staff (Fire)
Ultimate: Standard of Might
Unstable Wall of Elements
Burning Breath
Burning Talons
Deep Breaths
Elemental Drain
Idea behind this build was to build kind of a bruiser/tanky dps kind of build. The first weapon setup uses a 2h weapon to take advantage of the Arcane Fighter passive which increases chance to proc fire enchantments (which DK has other passives to boost). Its main purpose is to get up close and personal with opponents and tank while dealing moderate damage with Burning Embers/2h fire enchantments. It uses the heals from dragon blood and burning embers alongside the CC from cinder storm to keep itself alive and uses empowering chains to grab mobs off team mates.
The second weapon setup uses destruction staff and several AoE abilities to basically melt large groups. Use burning talons to snare a large group and unleash wall of elements, burning breath and deep breaths while using elemental drain to hit tougher mobs.
This build was basically derived from what I've seen here on the forums and on Youtube, I haven't been able to test it.
Anybody have any input on whether or not this will work or how to make it better?
