The Lone Wanderer's Parents

Don't any of you find the Lone Wanderer's main default appearance from the trailers to be contrary to his parents? His mother Catherine is African American while James is white. Wouldn't the Lone Wanderer be half-black as a result? If someone chose another race besides caucasian, James would appear as that same race. In his default appearance, how can he not appear half-black/African American when one of his parents are the latter? Is it possible for a interracial couple (with an African American) to have children who appear to be completely white?!?!? I'm not being racist or anything......I'm just really curious.

Never thought on this before, but yeah, I suppose it is. The default Caucasian option I always went with kinda looked half cast now that I think about it, heh.

While it's rare for a 1st generation bi-racial (b & w) child to appear white, it is possible. Usually, this doesn't occur until after several generations of interbreeding. Also, sometimes, a white child with black genes several generations prior, born to two apparently white parents can come out black.

Sure it is. Just do a Google image search for inter-racial children and you'll see plenty where you wouldn't be able to tell that one of their parents was black. The same applies for any inter-racial offspring. They can look like either race or a combination of both. Usually it's a combination of both but not always.
