Hey guys hope all is well,

So yeah this weekend there was a beta event with a very cool vanity pet, I didn't even care to be part of the beta since I knew I would get to enjoy the game once it was released but I wanted that monkey.

I started my beta download on Thursday the 27th of February around 10 am, GMT + 2.

The download was only 17% by Firday afternoon 5pm on the 28th February 2014, GMT + 2.

I let the download run all thorugh the weekend in hopes I could just get to log on create a character see the world of Tamriel and ensure I get my little monkey.

Bad luck for me I was unable to get to this pc until this morning at 8am 3rd of March 2014 due to a crisis.

Now we are 7 hours ahead of Washington, New York so that's probably East coast time, and 10 hour difference from West coast time.

I was hoping that extra time would give me a chance to log in, turns out it wasn't enough.

I hope you guys enjoyed your monkey and the beta.

There was no monkey companion in the beta. Maybe you will get one more chance before live.

Monkeys just eat your food stores and throw poop anyways. So wouldn't worry about it.
BTW they held the event on the one weekend that I could not be there, after not missing any since I received my invite LOL

Why did you start a 22gb p2p download hours before the beta started instead of a full week before when it was announced ...

If you read the email and the beta forum you will know the monkey is going to be in the live game not beta.

He is not taking about not having the monkey in the beta. He is talking about no monkey at launch as well as no able to participate in the beta. Hence, hole is enjoy the monkey at launch and the beta last weekend

All you have to do is create an beta account and redeem your code. That is all. You don't have to download anything or even play the game at beta.

You have to at least attempted to log in the game as stated clearly on the announcement.

When I see monkeys running around I'm going to /facepalm every last one of their owners.
