Brezer thank you I missed that. auto loot point

slots

IN EQ2(still there) we made 20 slot bags straight away( easy at level 10) and thus has 120 while the bank had bag capacity x 8 shared and 12 x bag capacity private. Thus a level 10 (just out of newbie area) char would have a minimum of 120 slots on self and a bank of between 240 private and 160 shared slots. That was my comparison.

You have aright to yr opinion but IMHO ESO is using capacity as a gold sink and I think that it sux.

You're right. Sadly this just isn't the forum for you to get heard. A lot of US players just refuse to relate to the reality of other countries.

If you got a beta email invite, check that. They linked the real forums and gave us a user name/password. Maybe your concerns will be heard there. If not, when the game goes live, they will put up the real ESO forum and will have a EU section you can post in.

Also, if this was your first beta here, don't forget, you were playing on the North America server. Hopefully the EU server will give you a better game experience.

I remember ADSL, and it was a struggle.

Nahh we are in Australia and cable is impossible here while a local server? It took us three years to get a local UO server and the local cable guys still ran rings around the poor dialups.

We have NO chance of a local server I can tell you now.

As for ISP we use the best in the country (my husband's business connection)and both EVE and EQ2 and several others that my children play have NO problems in connection or with lag.

The lag that we experienced was dialup UO 1990s quality and frankly it shocked me(lots of BAD memories with UO on US servers...dead before you even saw the PK) and to see it

here again really got to me.

So for you smart arses boasting about your fast connections: lucky you!! But even extremely fast ADSL2 wasn't in the race this time.

In the previous betas the lag was there but nothing like this time and hence the shock. My husband told me to reboot every time as he said the ESO memory leaked badly and affected the cache but

I have no idea as to what that means.

I had zero connectivity issues, zero disconnects (other than showing Offline in dungeon a few times, but that's just missing health bar etc)

As a server hardware and network stress test goes, it was a 95% pass from Central Canada. I won't pass judgement on the quest bugs, as I know we're not running the PTS build. Their last patch info was a mile long.

As for the inventory issues ... my God.

Even after dumping every 'trait' crafting item (gems basically) and buying 2x upgrades to backpack and bank, I could barely run Banished Cells without stopping 3 times and destroying every white (non traited) item and every lesser enchant (L5-10,15)

I'm cool with no 'crafting tab' in your backpack, but for the love of Pete ... please add an infinite crafting mat tab to the shared bank.

Loved some of the play style and some quests were neat. can't wait to see all of Tamriel

I remember UO. I was on when they made the change so that the person that did the most damage got to loot first. Many more changes came after I left the game.

This weekend I had 0 log in issues. I had very little lag. I got stuck several times. I walked through a few sets of stairs and would get stuck and the best was when I opened a door and was in the sky with my toon falling to his death. Man, that guy can scream. :D I completely agree on the bank and inventory space though. I ended up focusing on crafting yesterday and it svcked having to keep running back into town. Over all the game was good though.

Where the heck do you buy additional storage space from? I knew the option existed but couldn't find it so I assumed that you had to be at a higher level then I was at.

So true!!...Just heard that the lag was deliberate...apparently it is normal in MMOs to do a "lag stress test" where they see what effect connection has on lag and how relatively poor cons suffer by comparison with fast ones and the next build will include a buffer to account for this so the little 12yo PKs on cable next to the server will not be able to murder us poor Oz's stuck with ADSL without us at least seeing him first. This was from a gaming technician who knows my husband(no idea which MMO) but I have my suspicions)

BTW I played in previous betas with almost no lag or at least bearable lag.

Now that I am satisfied re that, all I want is the capacity fixed but as it is the ESO gold sink I cannot see it and IMHO this WILL ruin the game certainly for me and my family going by all the comments here from my son who is now home after his hectic weekend on ESO.

It just seems (to me) so incredibly stupid to NOT have at least a separate trade skill bag with 100 slots and no weight factor as that would solve ,most problems( I had 26 rune stones and multiples thereof in my bank)

Finagill...you buy the bank slots off the banker as when you look at him the option to press"E" for increased space occurs whil yr capacity is increased by buying a 10 slot bag from a bag merchant (the sneaky looking guy : ))

nothing online is 'correction irrelevant' if you're internet is slow, don't expect a seamless experience in a game that by definition requires data to be sent and received. in a brand new AAA MMO, there's quite a lot of information constantly going back and forth.

it svcks, and I feel for anyone with slow internet, but I don't see how this is the problem of the developer
