If you have played all the dlcs, what is the best one, according to you?

And just an incidental question, did you enjoy thieves den dlc?

Shivering Isles.

Thieves Den was all right, but I couldn't really get into it.

I haven't played all of them but my favorite is Mehrunes' Razor. I've never tried the Thieves Den.

Well that is very hard question. For me the best dlc needs to benefit many characters and be somehow essential for my play, no matter who i play. I select my basic mods the same way. From that perspective Mehrunes Razor and Spell Tomes are best DLCs you can get in my opinion.

But in the whole quality level, i belive that SI is the best. Yet doesn't suit that much to many characters. It is creative and fun, yet my characters visited it only a few times.

I can't recommend "player home" add-ons as i like to combine a lot of random things from community mods into my game and these are greatly covered by it. Modding community does amazing job in createing these and you should choose ones you like, but not overdo it in my opinion. So often you will find no need to the official ones. And Thieves Den is basically it. Not bad one adding nice ammount of content, but not a must have in any means.

I like Thieves Den very much. What is unique about it among the smaller DLC is that when complete, it is a small hidden 'town' full of shady characters. My character is not a thief or even particularly disreputable, so we roleplay that one of the pirate types (Jak Silver) is in charge down there. My character's primary interest in visiting her shady friends there is for the fletcher; again, we roleplay that the fletcher there is one of the few places my character can restock the special arrows she prefers.

Although Frostcrag Spire is a great home for reclusive wizards, the stark difference for me between Frostcrag and Thieves Den is that Frostcrag can be a very lonely place. For that one, we roleplay that a reclusive wizard lives there. My own character is much too gregarious for that and prefers an apartment at the Arcane University (when not on the road).
