Hey. I am just returning to the game again after playing it for a few days just at release. I admit I had NO clue what I was doing and really didn't know how to level up. I've been following all things Skyrim for a while and decided I would come back to the game and try it again.
Now, in most games I prefer melee so I'll probably just go for a warrior build. Would anyone be able to recommended the best/a good build to me in a PM? Thanks in advance.
Also, this whole 'efficient levelling' thing confuses me just a bit. Should I pick skills like Blade and Block as minor skills so I can actually quest/explore without levelling up?
Well, this is what I think.
I personally level intuitively, meaning that I do pick my most often used skills and level up naturally. Im able to compensate for everything because my characters use Alchemy a lot. With Alchemy Restore life and Restore Magick Potions stack, so you can essentially have both infinitely as long as you have the potions. Alchemy in the game levels very fast and those 2 potions are enough to defeat incredible odds. Plus thats just the tip of the iceburg for its many uses. My advice is do a lot of Alchemy and you dont need to worry about leveling gimmicks.
Now my question to you in designing a Warrior is how picky are you? I want to know your predertiminations and rules for building one. If you just want to make an indestructible Bad ass; This is the strongest character Ive made and my current Character:
Jacobin Montresu
Male
Breton
Atronach
Magic
Endurance, Strength
Alchemy, Armorer, Blade, Conjuration, Destruction, Heavy Armor, Illusion
Its a somewhat advanced build with the Atronach and Alchemy as a Major. However Im fairly deep into his play through and nothing has even been remotely hard so far, and I happen to know that this character will get stronger and stronger by design as the game progresses. If you want a challenge, this build is not it. If you want to totally OWN everything the game throws at you from beginning to end, this is the way to go.
