The book is http://esohead.com/books/907-the-rise-of-queen-ayrenn
I thought it was just the one in the teso website, but it is in fact a different book with some detailed history about Ayrenn's departure from the SSI. But what described in the book is a big surprise to me, as it says:
Almost all of Ayrenn's actual training happened in the Direnni Tower, and this period of training changed her quite a bit. This could also explain her attitude toward Tamriel, far from a normal SSI Altmer but close to the Direnni way. We don't really know much about the Direnni but we do know that in 2E the Imperial Battlemage of Versidue-Shaie was exactly Pelladil Direnni, and according to Vorian Direnni in 3E the Dirennis were quite active in the chaos of 2E. They played a bit role in the 2E Tamriel. So would be Ayrenn.
And according to MK Ayrenn was exactly KINMUNE, which is a piece of lore that makes me begin to like her. However as written in KINMUNE,
KINMUNE was locked down in dwemericraft. And before she got imprisoned by Ysgramor she stayed in North. I don't know if the Dwemer only existed in North would be a coinsidence or not. So all these make me think, what if Ayrenn was not born as KINMUNE, but was later made into KINMUNE? By which I mean the Direnni abducted Ayrenn the blessed birth, at the age of eight, from the SSI to Balfiera, and they provided Ayrenn as a consumed operator to KINMUNE, in the process training her, considering both KINMUNE and KINMUNE consumed Ayrenn as their marionette?
And just a side note, I really find http://esohead.com/books/897-crimes-of-the-daggerfall-covenant, http://esohead.com/books/898-regarding-the-ebonheart-pact, and http://esohead.com/books/8-a-warning-to-the-aldmeri-dominion are in well put. The Dominion premierely used their pen as weapon to attack both the Convenant and the Pact, and only the Convenant fought back in the same style. (I like the implication that Nords and Dunmer cared nothing about the verbal fight, they just started to attack with sword without a word.) And in these attacks the Direnni were mentioned as one of the main reasons that they had to fight. It may be partly due to Ayrenn's apprenticeship in the Direnni clan, but would it be just some certain stage the Direnni made up in order to achieve their other goals?
