Nafaalilargus~ Skyrim DLC-like mod project

About the mod:



So I was watching these videos about rumors on a new DLC called "Redguard", however not so long after Bethesda announced that they'll no longer make any DLCs for this game, many people were disappointed and so was I.



A couple of months after, I got the bright idea of actually doing what those rumors said the DLC was going to be, a DLC-like mod that takes place in the island of Stros M'kai, with an all new story quest line and many more side and misc quests.



I only started a few months back, however only done little progress seeing as this has an entirely new worldspace made from scratch, and I'm only one guy working on this and I also have school, so time isn't on my side.



I was going back and forth with this but my friends told me that I shouldn't just quit working on it, I should rather go to here, on the forums, and approach the people with this and see what'll happen. So this is it, my approach.





So hoping that I'd get enough support, and seeing as this is a fairly medium sized mod I shouldn't need too many people and those who will help wouldn't suffer much from "too much work".



While I know this approach might be bad since English isn't my native language, and I can't put a good and interesting paragraph, but here goes nothing:





List of things to do:



1- The worldspace - Currently 25% done I'd say, the outer shape of the land is 90% done but still got many things to do within the land before navmeshing and generating the LOD.



2- Interiors - Currently not my main focus at all since I need to finish at least 85% of the exterior first.



3- Factions and NPCs - Including the new creatures (Goblins, wolves, Yokudan spirits, Nafaalilargus etc.). Also not focused on at all until finishing the first two.



4- Quests - Starting with main then side then misc.



5- Voice acting - After finishing the main quests at least and fully testing them



6- Polishing - Including final touches in the exterior landscape and adding new music tracks and so on...




The Story:

Well, the story -as the title suggests- revolves around the dragon Nafaalilargus, seeing as he was slain by Cyrus in TESA: Redguard but not devoured, he's back along the other dragons now, what makes him more so dangerous than most other dragons is that he's under the influence of N'gasta, which casted soul snare on the entire island, which has different effects on dragons.
And to get the questions out of the way, how you go to Stros M'kai goes like this:
After you finish the 'Diplomatic Immunity' quest you'll get a letter from an Argonian outlaw that lives by the northern edges of Skyrim. His 'clients' need help so he sends you off straight to Stros M'kai without going through Hammerfell. But in the process you get caught and trapped in jail for execution when the governor recognizes you as Dragonborn and demands your help for the cost of letting you free.

Currently working on/ Need help with:



I'm currently working on the exterior of the worldspace, I can handle the landscape editing, however, I'm having a fuss with adding entirely new meshes to the game. I'm bad at modeling and I'm terrible at dealing with .nif files. So if anyone wants to help PM me, it'd be most appreciated.
