I'm still on the fence about whether or not I'm going to get this game. One of the things I'm wondering about now is the crafted gear vs the gear found from mobs and treasure. My question is this, if I choose not to do any crafting, will I my gear be underpowered? Will gear that I find not be good enough for more challenging content, or will found gear be just as good as crafted gear?

I ask this because I do not like crafting at all. I did the minimum amount in Skyrim to get Dragon gear, then I never crafted anything else. The point is I want to be able to get competitive gear without having to craft anything myself. I understand that I can also buy crafted gear from other players, but in my experiences in other MMOs, usually gear that other players sells becomes too expensive for me to afford; especially after the game has been out for a bit and the economy booms. I'm one of those players that likes to explore content and go on adventures, rather than collecting ingredients.

I don't mean for that last bit to sound negative, I was just elaborating my playstyle.

***Edit: I wanted to note that this thought ocurred to me because I hear so much about the crafting in this game from reviews, and players, so I'm a bit concerned that it may be almost expected that everyone will craft.
