Dragonscale vs Dragonplate Armor

Does anyone find dragonscale to look the part for more of a one handed character, where dragonplate is more for a two handed character?

I agree for the most part, Dragonscale looks good on an agility/speed/magic-focused character, while Dragonplate looks better for an endurance/strength-based character. However, I think Dragonplate would also look good on a staff-wielding, daedra-summoning sorcerer. (although Daedric would be preferable in that case)

In the Light Armor Tree, My characters that really Smith end up in Dragonscale, IMO Dragonplate is too bulky and cartoonish. I practically play only Female characters, and on a Male Dragonplate does look a little better.

It seems more viable for someone to use light armor for 2H because of the stamina regeneration and the faster movement.

It's doesn't really matter TBH. Arguably, a 1H + sword build doesn't need the added protection of heavy armor, as they have a shield to compensate the AR. While a 2H loses that shield AR protection, so heavy armor makes more sense.

At the end of the day, it's all down to what you prefer, your style & difficulty level your playing at.

I agree to some degree. Dragonplate looks good for a maxed out (stamina) warrior whereas Dragonscale looks more refined and better for someone like spellsword who has a sword or shield in one hand and magic in the other.

My Imperial spellsword wears Dragonscale with a green hood. That look pretty cool. I like it for an Imperial as it is reminiscent of Imperial Dragonscale Armor from back in Morrowind.
