I was hoping there was a way to put your guild's emblem on your armor or on a cape or something (not a fan of a cape but I was just throwing that out there). Maybe a marker above the head that is incorporated with the current group marker design.

My idea is to be able to identify guildmates on the battlefield, even if I'm not grouped with them.

Do you think this would add to the game? Has this already been addressed?

This would be cool. Loved GW1 on capes.

Guild emblems Ala DAoC would be cool.

A tabard would be a nice solution for heavy and possible medium armor torso.

And a sash for light armor torso.

Edit: and an option to put an emblem on a shield if using those maybe?

I think a guild cape like in DAOC would be awesome, a few diffrent sizes would be good.

I was hoping for something I could see from a distance, would be easily implemented by the devs and wouldn't cause any lag. I think these are things to consider.

I feel pretty sure they've said nothing like this at launch, but that it is something they'd like to do.

I think it would be a nice addition. It's not only cool but you can get to advertise your Guild in a way, almost like propaganda. But the problem is whether people will put appropriate emblems and not the male's reproductive system or just a naked woman, which people did on GTA V.

I like heraldry ("guild emblems", if you must). And if it can blend in to the game, even better. It would also be cool if guilds can build faction points as a group with some of the quest lines.

Even if not at release, maybe it will be in an update.

This ^, emblems or similar if implemented should only be selectable from list of possibilities not user custom made. At least for me seeing the similar emblems every where I turn like there are in Battlefield 4 would really ruin my ESO experience.

those sites doesn't even feature the pencses and womens bumbers that most commonly you see on the battlefield.

At least make it possible to disable to see those if something like that is implemented.

I also think the tabard would be the best solution, god, I love tabards. Yet, I also I think the an emblem placed on your chest or shoulder would look good.

They'd better do this Not being able to identify guilds on the battlefield will seriously detract from PvP.

I truly hope that there is some way your guild tag can pop out. I'm so used to having a toon and guild name on top of a players head in swtor that the way this game shows the toon name seems very inadequate If I plan to go wreak havoc in Cyrodil with my guildies, as a healer I definitely wanna be able to see where they are exactly in a big group of people cos it's hard enough already not to have a targeting feature.
