Soon as I posted this I didn't realize someone has just posted the same thing.

Doubt there will be a public beta for consoles as it would require physical media being sent to the participants.

But if there was a beta on consoles, it doesn't have to be soon. They still have a couple months.

FF 14 just got done with a beta for the ps 4. Not to bad of a game.

What, that makes no sense.

We just got done with a Titanfall beta that had over 2 million players and not one of them required physical media.

Titanfall also wasn't 20+ GB. An MMO like this takes up a lot of space, downloading and installing it on a Console would require lots of drive space and bandwidth. However, they could make some ISO images available for download I guess.

I could be wrong, it's happened before, but I currently don't foresee an open beta for the console version happening.

Console betas is scheduled for June, no? Or was that console release?
