Apologies if this has already been covered. I'm just wondering whether I will be able to keep my existing beta account to use with the retail copy of the game. I'm not worried about losing characters, it's just all my user info is already in there ready to go! (Does that make sense?)

If you purchased the game, your beta client will update to live client. All beta characters will be deleted.

The account you linked the purchase to will be the one you use.

Thanks for the reply! I don't have the purchase linked to an account yet as it's a preordered retail copy. I do, however, have an early access code for purchasing the Imperial Edition? Do I apply that to my existing beta account?

Yes you can. It is not a beta account but an account with beta access.

I would imagine the Imperial Edition would be like a patch that could even download from ZOS rather than reinstalling the game.

However, open a support ticket at ZOS to ask them this specific question. Then post back here if the answer is different than what you have been told in this thread.
