Post » Sat Mar 08, 2014 7:20 am

Hello! Is there any mods that can make the nightingale armor level with you? I just got it ( 32x ) and I regret it so much because i just read that it dosen't level with you. So I wonder if there is any mods out there that can fix it? Quick answer please! :D Zed the dragonborn out!

No idea. What I do know is that us Oblivion players had a hard time with almost every single unique item in the game, because it refused to level with us. Be thankful that it's only the odd item that is levelled in Skyrim ;)

Oh.. And welcome to the forums Harry. Here's a fishystick. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/General:Fishy_Stick

Check the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/?, it might have what you're looking for.

Doubt there's anything you can do now, and I don't know if it works for that particular item, but I know there's at least one mod which gives you the best possible version of levelled items. Which I guess could mean that any given item could be kind of OP when you first get it, but you've still done the same amount of work (more or less) to get it, generally. Think this is the one I was using (not at the moment) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22996/?

I used to use an "http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18311/?" mod (on Nexusmods) that gave you the armor AND weapons in a chest in Nightingale Hall that you could enchant to your liking. I don't know if that would help you, though

[EDIT]

Welcome to the boards :)

Just a quick edit, Valandril's mod that he linked works if when you GET the armor set, not when you HAVE. If you have them you will have to use the CONSOLE to get the items. Luckely, I got the IDs. These IDs will give you the best enchantments of them:

Boots: 000FCC0D

Armor: 000FCC0F

Gloves: 000FCC11

Hood: 000FCC13

You must start with: player.additem (code) 1

I think these are the right codes, if not just search in the console: help nightingale 0

Peace!

It would be nice if you had that choice to raise its level through smithing or having someone temper it for you

I've used this for a while now. It basically adds a spell that let's you upgrade all your leveled items to your current level.
