So SWTOR is doing player housing...

No, they don't. They created their own. And a pretty darn good one it is, too.

IMHO, ESO doesnt' need to do ANYTHING that SWTOR is doing or has done. ;)

I suggested it in another housing-thread:

Guild-Towns.

Get with your guild to build your own village, a house for every player, a market with vendors, crafting stations, a way shrine.....

Maybe even a keep with a guildhall?

Seriously, TESO uses the same engine as SWTOR?! What kind of cruel joke is that?! It's not even April Fool's Day, it's one month too early!

I wouldn't say the worse.... some enjoyed it, others did not, however, the things they are doing now in game isn't enough... to much/little too late...

Eventually there will be player housing.

Why does everyone hate on SWTOR? I liked it

You should work on your reading comprehension. TESO does not use the hero engine. It uses it's own in house engine. The hero engine was used for early prototyping only.

Actually, in all fairness, he was responding to several posts that said it is the same engine.

Wow doesnt have anything the players consider housing.

Not even the new garrison system in the xpack.

EQ2 had housing at launch. Upkeep pulled money out of the economy entirely as a gold sink.

Was great.

No.

If theres one thing that killed a lively populated world its guild halls.

With the multiple guild system it could get wonky anyways.

The problem with the housing, is that nobody uses it. Even if they add stuff, like storage, etc... nobody would care.

I gave them my idea in the survey, to make it be important and good... I hope they will read it and like it. :)

Absolutely think you should be able to do so, if you catch folks like me breaking in.

But, I'm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oy3TZ-4-B4.

You underestimate people.

Its incredibly popular in all games I play with it. Even if only for storage.

Not everyone is going to go all martha stewart living, but its always been popular.
