Ancient Nords were pretty interesting but they need to be a thing of the past, they were violent and careless about others.

The most overrated race to me is the Imperials. Because their achievements were based off of the contributions of others.

Nords, they're the white bread of Skyrim.

I'd go along with this. I have nothing against any TES races, but the fans sometimes do an injustice to the race. They have managed to almost make me turn against them at times due to this.

And this interpretation of Bretons is what I mean b "Imperials took something from them".

Dunmer are most overrated. Someone makes a half-decent game set in a backwater island in province (With the primary game mechanics being "Auto-run" and "Scrolling through text", and an entire fandom goes crazy over them.

This gave me cancer. No if u paid attention u would know of thier culture, religion, and architecture. But ur looking at mechanics and not the game itself.

Give him a break now! He also thinks all Altmer are snobbish Thalmor types.

This be the funniest post in this thread. :hehe:

Anyway, I believe that the Bretons and Cyrods deserve the prize for most overrated peoples of Tamriel.

Just about all the notable aspects of Breton culture and society seem to originate from the Direnni, whereas Cyrodiil would most likely continue being a primitive land if it weren't for the Akaviri, Ayleids, and even Nords.

Won't lie, I'll never understand people disliking anything because of the people that like them.

Even generalizing the Altmer in Skyrim as a whole to be snobbish is rather much already. When the snobbish types only consist of the actual Thalmor themselves, the two sisters in Solitude, the mage in the Blue Palace, and that one Altmer who is jealous of the other at the College of Winterhold. Although the Thalmor make up a good majority of Altmer in Skyrim, that would still be like judging the Altmer race solely on the Thalmor. It would be an unfair comparison between Oblivion and Skyrim considering the Thalmor were non-existent during that time.
