Any raceany alliance

Curious what you guys think....

This is one of the main reasons I pre-ordered the game (digital standard).

Apparently it is 'lore breaking'. I'm not a big lore type so I don't even know. I play for the adventure, the combat, the loot, and the social aspects etc etc.

Do you think that certain people who are really into the lore will discriminate in some fashion against those who are not playing the "correct" race for whatever alliance they belong to?

Could get interesting.

Probably. Some people take things too far.

I have no problems with it and I might even use it myself if I pre-order TESO. But there are some people who just complain about it. Why? I don't even know.

Possibly, someone is too much into the lore :stare:

No but seriously, as long as they keep it "in character" i can see that being a good thing because *gasp* immersion!

If anyone takes it too seriously they will be just laughed at so dont worry.

It's not Lore-breaking at all.

Oh. I've heard that it is on a number of occasions.

But again, I don't really pay attention to the lore so I don't know.

Lore is important to many who played TES an the devs to this point have made lore a focus of the game. I don't think that there will be any changes so if it is not important to you, roll an imperial.

Lore is less important to me but I respect the multitudes who made TES such a huge success. Without that we would not have this game.

well, if people want specific races to be in specific alliances, they are plenty free to make those choices, but shouldn't demand others do the same

And even it it were "lore-breaking", couldn't you simply imagine a scenario where a member of a certain race was to "defect" so to speak?

It's not really important to me...I was just curious. If someone wants to be a jerk because I picked the "wrong" race for that alliance well...that's their problem.
