AlucardVlad III Dracula RP

Post » Sun Mar 09, 2014 2:18 am

I got this idea while I was at school. Since I'm home for spring break and haven't played Skyrim for a while, I've been itching to start a new RP.

I want to try a Vlad the Impaler/Dracula build. But one based off of Alucard (who is Vlad) from the Hellsing anime. It seems like a stretch so I wanted to help.

Here are some references:

Classic Dracula: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epol6eXdcnk

Alucard becoming Dracula: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YODvtc7-qk8

Quick fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYxSI0V4qXU&index=14&list=FLjgb2hvFLW-Kfo_lf-I3x5Q

Character, some more fighting (skip to 27:30) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLJ5fdkU_CM

So it's apparent he's an extremely powerful figure. I'll be using Heavy Armor and Conjuration, obviously. He's also able to hypnotize people, but I'm not sure if I want to use Illusion. Not sure if I want 1H or 2H though, he throws around that sword like it's nothing. He's also strong enough to "thrall" other powerful vampires.

Either picking Nord or Imperial for race. Vlad III Tepes was Romanian, so I'm not sure which race would fit better.

It's not really skills that I'm having trouble with though, so much as RP.

Alucard is a vampire. But he's also a vampire hunter. So I don't know what to do about Harkon and his lot. Obviously it makes sense to join the Dawnguard...but I can't do that as a vampire. What do you think I should do about that?

Alucard is a loner. Usually his own power greatly exceeds that of his enemies, and very rarely ever needs help. Though he does have a fledgling. I guess Serana could do that. He's also bound to the will of a human master. Not sure how I'd go about that.

LOL, I could see that being very hard. Since Alucard mainly uses his guns when he's in human form, and RPing in his true forms would be really hard. as much as I love the idea. Perhaps you should do a different vampire? Alucard from Sympthony of the Night, or Dracul from Lords of Shadows.

Yeah thats true, so I was just gonna stick with staying as "Dracula." So it's not going to be a strict RP, it'll be Alucard...Skyrimized.

And his personality. LOL, does Skyrim support being a [censored] up monster that get's his kicks from brutally killing everyone and anyone in sight? Impale them on spikes? Laugh all day? Call people dog food

But being a simple Vlad the Impaler/Dracula would be pretty easy. I say Illusion, Conjuration (Dracula has all sorts of monster bounded to him) two handed, and heavy armor.

I don't that'll be a problem. Being a psycho in Skyrim is too easy

The skills yeah I think are good. I'll probably use 2H, since in some flashbacks he's hanging over a massive sword.

But what to do about the Dawnguard?

It depends on which Dracula were talking about.

Dracula from hellsing would team up with the Dawnguard if he had sufficent motivation for doing so. Perhaps have him as the son of the Jarl of Riften who originally built the fort to imprisn him. As much as Alucard loves killing humans, he loves killing fake vampires even more.

Alucard from Sympathy of the night would be no question. Join the dawnguard.

Dracul...is...complicated. He wouldn't join any of them. "I am the dark shadow that chills the hearts of man. And yet, I am god's chosen champion, his holy fire incarnate. I hate He, but he loves me, as he loves you." *Talking to Lucifer*

Think the mentality of Hellsing's Alucard, but in the body of his Level 0 release.

LOL, I say you should just go as a Loli vampire, Nozomi-Chan from Akai Ito

But if you do Alucard (Hellsing), go dawnguard. He's usually the lighter shade of black (and does genuinely admire human determination and courage, above all, dosen't view them as worthless.) , and I doubt he would like Harkon's first impression

Your link doesn't work. I was getting ready for a good chuckle. :(

But I think your right. If only there was a way to be a vampire in their ranks, though.

Funny thing is that Loli vampire has way more personality then any of Skyrim's NPC ones combined

I thought Alucard is the son of Vlad Tepes (Dracula)?

Alucard is Dracula spelled backwards, which means "Son of the Dragon". Dracul, whose Vlad's father, means "The Dragon"

As long as she's not a cardboard box I don't doubt it

Nope, he was Tepes III in life. In OVA 9 he has a flashback of when he was human. It's clear he's the prince of Wallachia himself.

I see...is this from Castlevania lore or the anime that he linked? Are they related because if so then I might have to watch it someday.

Sorry for the slight derailment but I'm curious about this.
What? Alucard was real? I thought the Dracula spelled backwards thing was purely fiction. Or do you mean "in life" as in when he was still a man in the anime?

That episode was depressing, Poor Alucard was [censored] when a child :(

LOL, Serana is the only one who can compare. But Nozomi easily beats out since she has precious Yuri.

In history, and Castlevania.

I assume it also counts in Hellsing because Alucard is Vlad the Impaler (Dracula.)

Alucard is the real life Vlad the Impaler, who was the inspiration of Dracula.

 oh no, in life in the anime. Alucard isn't real, but in the anime, he was once Dracula...who in popular fiction, was once Vlad.

Everything about Vlad the Impaler is true history though.

Alucard, as the duel wielding, near insane, vampire/eldritch horror, is thankfully, not real ;)

I would assume he can trick humans into thinking he's not a vampire, there's mods for that, sadly you don't have such things. However you could RP him as a vampire, until you complete the Dawnguard Dlc. While being human. But the Alucard from Hellsing only is a Vampire hunter because of Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Otherwise I'd surmise he would care who or what he killed. Without Integra, Alucard would be an uncontrollable monster, who did as he pleased. Also he would have lived for centuries and would have mastered most if not all forms of combat.

Alucard's entire shtick is that he's a sociopathic death seeker who thinks that only humans have the right and power to kill him; it's when they succumb to using otherworldly forces, like Anderson and the Nail, that he goes completely nuts.

He'll never join the Volkihar.

Well what you could is rp that your Dracula/Alucard's powers sealed away for whatever reason. You can join the Dawnguard and when you unlock the Soul Cairn let Serana turn you (breaking the seal so to speak).
