Imperial Race - are they human?

Post » Sun Mar 09, 2014 12:57 pm

The Imperial racials aren't out of line with any other race... as a matter of fact, so far, all data says they're inferior to other races for everything except possibly tanking, in which they come in maybe 2nd, maybe 3rd.

I'd say the Imperial racials are fine, if a bit too "tank specific". The mount is not from being an Imperial, but from getting the Imperial addition. Non-imperial characters will have it.

Personally i feel that Imperial racials conflicts with lore. Imperials are not supposed to be physically strong, yet they get highest hp of all races and their stamina on par with Redguards.

Medium armor racial would make more sense.

Ayleid move from their 2nd home (They are Altmer 1st, but left Summer Isle) to where some humans (Nords?) lived slightly outside of Skyrim and interbreed -- that where their Elf Blood came from and became the Bertons.

Humans think that the Gods created them. Elves (Altmer) think that are from Gods who created Nirn -- They gave up so much of their selves to created the world, they had to breed. Their "children" are the Ehinofey and set of them became the Altmer.

Khajiit can be from a different set of Ehinofey -- they are not related to Elves per say, Azura or some other Gods created them going by their creation myth.

Argonians are the "Childern" of the Hist trees. I wonder if some of the Ehinofey (Different set then the Elf and Khajiit ones) became the Hist trees. Also, Hist seems to know a lot about Sithis as well, more then any other race.

I only see 6 "1st born" races

Elves (They left Summerset Isle and became the different Elf races because of the land that they live on)

Khajiit (They could be Elves, but not the same blood line as the Altmer Elves)

Hist => Argonians

2 different set of humans (Nord and Red Graud)

Dragons (Their "father" is the God of time)

Just the Elves, the land could have changed the human race and make a sub-race of them. Nords who were living in Cyrodiil were changed into two different Sub-groups and after the slave up rising and kicked out the Ayleids, those two sub-groups of humans who became the Imperials. Thus, Imperials are not really Nords, but they are related to them.

Just like one can not really say that a Altmer is a Falmer or a Dunmer -- the land changed them, they are related, but not the same race.

Aedra and Daedra are the divine entities of Nirn, the gods, if you will.
Aedra. In the ancient tongue, Aedra means "our ancestors". The Aedra are the gods that created Nirn. There are 9 major Aedra gods but also many, many lesser ones. The 9 Aedra gods have created Nirn and all living things on it. Their names are as follows: Arkay, Akatosh, Dibella, Zenithar, Julianos, Mara, Stendarr, Kynareth and Talos). The lesser Aedra were also involved in the creation of Nirn and they also became the living things, mortals themselves are all lesser Aedra in origin. Aedra are considered good.
Daedra. In the ancient tongue, Daedra means "not our ancestors". These gods are the same as the Aedra except they did nothing in the creation of the world and simply just watched. Their names are Azura, Meridia, Boethiah, Molag Bal, Vaermina, Sheogorath, Hircine, Mephala, Sanguine and Mehrunes Dagon. They enjoy taunting and tormenting mortals for their own amusemant. They are all considered evil with the exception of Azura and Meridia, whose agendas are mostly beneficial to mortals but they are not really good gods.
I hope I made some sense.

At the start of everything, they were a set of twins. One of them is Light (Anu), other is dark (Padomay[ later called Sithis])
The Aedra are children of Anu
The Daedra are children of Padomay [Sithis]
In infinity past, Anu and Padomay had a battle and their blood made the Aedra and Daedra.
That is why Sithis is not a Deadra.

Well that was when light armor=leather/glass/chitin/other light armor materials. while in eso, light armor is mainly robes/cloth, and medium armor is what we know and love as light armor.

Im pretty sure that the Dirreni High Elves and humans made bretons, as Dirreni came to high rock first while later after the Allesian slave rebellion some intermingled with the Dirreni.

Wild High Elves are the Ayleid

In high rock humans were the Nords

Ayleid + High Rock Nords = (childern) are the Breton race

I do not know the word of "Dirreni" have to read up on that "race"

Dirreni is just a family name, not a race. I still think the race are the Nords and that is just a family with in that race.

I am well aware, Which Is why I say that they were the elves that "created" the bretons, not the Aylieds(as we know the dirreni are Altmer)

Or, for those Byzantophiles out there, go with a Greek name by adding an "os" after the name

I think you are missing a few steps there, on the right path, but missing some details

The Altmer who lived in Cyrodiil became the Ayleid, after the slaves kicked them out, they moved to High Rock area.

The Altmer race =/= Ayleid race. They are related, yes, but no the same.

Dirreni is a family of Altmer however.

I would not say that Direnni were the ones that bred the bretons, the Bretons surely existed when the Direnni clan were there.

Aldmer+Nedic=breton(almost the same though)

The best part about TES is that canon as its traditional meaning is pretty much out the window.

And most of the things surrounding C0DA are "canon", as the same person wrote bot C0DA and the supporting documents in game(most notably Vivecs sermons).

That said, orcs are elves, Bretons are man-mer, and khajiit are likely related to mer. Still superior, of course.

you think Aldmer were there first? I thought they were only on Aldmeris and then when they came to Tamriel they became Altmer and then the other racial splits happened?
