which race will you play, and why that kind of race?

lore, skills, looks?

Myself goes by fancy/pretty/ i like their looks,

so first and foremost; Khajit- since, tiger... and, big/small cat fur-patterns~!

also argonian, since i like lizards and havn't played them, but i've liked the NPCs

and some elves (since there's a variety), depending on how their character customarization look

Breton, I recreated the face of the one you see in the Cinematic Trailers. Also, I've been playing as a Breton from the beginning.

Khajiit because kittens.

My wife is playing Imperial because she is going to tank and we believe Imperial and Redguard have the best tanking passives, with a slight scaling edge to Imperial. I will be playing a healer but haven't decided yet on Templar vs. Sorceror, but will probably play Breton or High Elf. Templar appears recently nerfed, so Sorc is looking more interesting, but I'm watching the beta threads closely.

I'm going Argonian for my fist because I have always played as my main character E. in the Elder Scrolls game. Also because I am a Herpetophile and like lizards because they are awesome and lizard-people are attractive to me. I will make a Argonian native (As opposed to E. who was raised by imperials), who is meant to actually go as far as I can with my Argonian knowledge and play him as an actual argonian would act (although a bit more violent as he is meant to be a slightly sadistic mercenary.)

I'm going with Bosmer because I love playing elves, but can't stand how the Altmer look.

Orc. My first Race in Morrowind,Oblivion and Skyrim. Shall continue that with ESO.

My second race if i ever have one is usually the Dunmer.

Probably Orc, maybe Bosmer, but most likely Orc... because they remind me of the Krogan in Mass Effect, but much more playable race due to physical build... the whole concept of a race that can be brilliant sorcerers, great tanks, philosophers, etc, but are kept down through near-genocidal killings due to pure fear that they will overtake and conquer everything... Just kind of makes me sympathize with them...

Either Breton or Redguard, because the backstory I have in mind fits best with one of those two.

Dunmer, because fits character idea I have.

Then probably Argonian. Because they look awesome and I love their racial armor.

Both played in Ebonheart.

Redguard Templar at some point. Sooner than later if any of my friends are in Daggerfall.

So far I've played as a Nord, Bosmer and Orc, but since it looks like my friends and I probably be playing Aldmeri Dominion my main will likely be Bosmer. I like my Nord and Orc characters a lot but I have to admit doing the Orc quest line I was a little put off by how the Orcs sounded. All the Orcs I've run across sound very human and haven't had the "gravely" sounding voices I got used to in Skyrim.

Altmer, Bosmer, Orsimer and Dunmer because I like mer.

Argonian and Khajiit because... I don't know, really. Last beta was the first time I tried them and I don't usually play beast races, but there is something about them that makes me love them.

Khajiit, because I like to sneak.

I will be playing Breton for my characters. With possibly a Bosmer here or there.

My reasoning is based almost solely on their appearance.

dunmer, I think 10% fire damage boon with enchanted weapons is going to be good.

plus extra stam and magic means, I going to get more power hit`s in.

Whichever human race lets me wear a Pompadour haircut.

My only other TES game was Skyrim, and skin tones/haircuts/tattoos/etc were different for each race. I'm assuming it will be the same for this game

Altmer, because they are the supreme dominators of Tamriel.

Breton.

I like the magic resistance.

Imperial Dragonknight - decided to do an Imperial when the Imperial Edition was announced. Dragonknight because the Imperial racial skills seem most geared toward that class.

Nord Templar - hey, I like Nords Templar since the Nord racial skills seem geared towards that class - at least before it was nerfed...

Dunmer Nightblade - Dunmer are cool And again, their racial skills seem geared towards that class.

Altmer sorceres - Wanted one char in each of the alliances, and Altmer have always been mages, so sorcerer is kinda obvious...
