Hey guys,

So I have a question that I can't for the life of me figure out.

Why is it that guards will have their torches permanently equipped in some interiors but not others?

Take the Hlaalu guards in Caldera mine for instance. How is it that they're able to constantly have their torches equipped? I also brought them into another interior and they did not carry their torch when I tested it.

Any help to this life long question will be greatly appreciated.

I think they euip torches when AI detects lack of light. Maybe interior settings, Ambient, Fog and Sunlight affect it somehow?

That would be brilliant if it did. Sadly, I brought the guard into a really dark cell and he didn't whip out the torch.

I would say it is dependant on the ambience settings of the given interior rather than on the actual light.
