Hello Elder Scrollsians, it's YoungStallion94. I was fiddling around with Xpadder and it's controls, and then I thought of trying to get The Elder Scrolls Arena to work with an Xbox 360 controller and without having to mess around in DOSBox. I experimented a little bit, and I think I may have found a scheme that may actually be pretty good for playing Arena with a 360 controller. While it obiviously won't be perfect, since it was created before the creation of the Xbox/it's controls/controller, I think this may allow myself and others who are too stubborn to play games on the PC with Keyboard/Mouse controls, to actually be able to play Arena almost entirely with the 360 controller, if not the full 100%. I'm still experimenting with this idea, and I still need to do a lot more testing on this to see if this truly works in the game or not, and I'll give you guys another update tomorrow if I'm able to play Arena for a good amount of time tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed! (If you want to play it with a 360 controller, of course).

Update #1:
I was able to navigate the character creation/selection menus with no problems, and I was able to walk/rotate the character with no problems/interact with objects that has items in it such as gold, armor, etc, with no problems, but I wasn't able to attack any thing that would attack the playable character, and there was a couple of weird things that happened with the menus, mainly the inventory/character ones, such as the game switching to the wrong menu(s) when the key/button was used for something else, and the camera movement was a little too fast, but I am definitely hopefull that I can get these issues fixed once I experimate/test it further!
