Problem with Solid State Drives and DX11

Post » Mon Mar 10, 2014 8:30 pm

Just wondering how many people are having a problem with DirectX 10 -11 on Solid State Drives. I've never had a problem running Fallout New Vegas or Skyrim on a regular HD but after installing a SSD I get frequent crashes. I downloaded performance test and when the test gets to the DX11 test it also crashes that program.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Having a SSD should have no impact on DirectX 10/11 functionality or performance.

When you installed a SSD, did you mean you replaced your old HDD completely or just added a new storage device? Is the Operating System installed to the SSD or just your games/applications?

Post a dxdiag report (in spoiler tags).

I agree. It should not. However, something is.. I completely replaced it. The SSD is the only drive.
