Skyrim Lurkers: Black Book

Post » Tue Mar 11, 2014 12:58 pm

Can anyone help me on this? I went into Filament and Filigree and got attacked by a Seeker and Lurker. Since the Lurker was the major part of it, I ended up finding a way to vanish from their sight behind a bookcase, but the lingering poison was killing me. I exited out of the book and it's STILL effecting me with this loud sound like fire or something. The sound you get in the Apocrypha. What do I do? It's been three to four Skyrim days and nothing's changed. Do I need to go back in and kill it? Don't fancy getting my butt kicked into Oblivion.

great. that's wat i was afraid of. well at least it's better than constantly trying to fight and heal at the same time. thanks. I just hope its still there in the load menu. i had gotten it after doing unearthed quest which was annoying.

No, nothing wrong with that game. It's the darkness that's draining you, not any poison from the Lurker. Just light a torch, cast a light spell, whatever it takes to get some light.

really? well i had been using mage light but to no avail so i'll try a torch. I know it'd be better to use that anyway since I'm constantly healing myself. is that what happens when you go into Apocrypha? the last time i think it was just the sound. forget how i got rid of that. I shall try but if i don't get it then I'll restart. wait...can you also use shrines? I'm the most hopeless breton werewolf lady ever lolz

It can be solved by entering and then leaving the realm.

Only F&F has the draining darkness. The others have more enemies, as the environment itself isn't against you.

Yes it should stop. I did it once with a torch and it worked fine. Played it on another playthrough with 2 torches. Even better.

Each book has its own little "quirks." Each one is better than the other, and each one is different. My favorite is the

one with the moving platforms.

so far, the dark shroud faded away, but the health thing is still affecting me. I just can't go to a store to get a torch though. The mage light seems to be helping but not fast enough. I hope the next book i read won't cause this long of effect. I'll be sure to keep torches on me though

My memory is a little fuzzy. Been awhile since I did the BB quests. I think thats the only one like that. Do you have a torch?
