From the ashes of Strayhold rises... Strayhold

So my large, happy kinship in LotR:O has, for all intents and purposes, folded. It's a barren wasteland now, where once 20-30 people would be online at once, 27 pages of toons, and usually about 150-200 toons logged in each rolling 24 hour period. I was the only person to log in on Friday night, and I did that only to see who logged in.

It is a sad, sorry sight.

However.

The kinmates have remained together, in vent, chatting, playing other F2P games, just to keep the fun rolling. We have branched out, and looked around, even gave Neverwinter a shot (the twitterized short version: GAG. #vomit).

Then we saw Elder Scrolls Online. Gave it a shot. And, after a fateful night this past Thursday, we had agreed. We would turn in our kinmate badges, and become guildmates in ESO!

Elder Scrolls Online will be our new home for Strayhold. Quite a sea change from a group of diehards, and myself, the crazy MERP lover who made the kinship to follow in our RL RPG footsteps.

The forums have been revamped (huge changes with forums being dedicated to ESO, solely), and we have 20+ people - more every day - who had been playing previously in Strayhold, purchasing ESO (most the imperial edition), and preparing to go to War for the Aldmeri Dominion, which will be Strayhold's faction, on the North American PC/Mac server.

And so, Strayhold is rising again, in ESO. A year ago, it was unthinkable (and I posted as such, silly me), but it is now a reality! We are quite excited. Although most of you do not know me, Strayhold knows me as Blackhawk, the Leader of Strayhold. It's going to be fun.

We are quite new to this adventure. Please, feel free to pop on over, register, and say hello! I would especially love to hear from you on our guild boards. Our kinship site was one of the best; I do plan to do the same in ESO.

Our home site (much of it hand crafted by me) can be found at:

guild dot strayhold dot com

I don't have access to post links here? Oh well, maybe the Official boards, when live, will allow it.

Again, from me to you, hello. If you plan to play Aldmeri, now is your chance to get to know us, before the Official Boards come online. If you play one of the other factions, well.... Now is the time to get to know you are going to be killing.

Hello

New forums users cannot post links, you have to reach a certain rank by posting enough posts to unlock this option.

For example, I can post links http://www.incgamers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/elder_scrolls_online_wallpaper-1.jpg like this

So I'll do you a favor and post your guild website link here http://kinship.strayhold.com/

Why not lol? You can say it

Good choice

I'm curious about the origins of your guild name, if you don't mind

EDIT: You should say what server you will be on: European or North American.

Thank you for the response! I made the changes you suggested, and I even included that we will be on the PC/Mac version too.

Strayhold is the name of a town in Middle-earth, that my RL RPG group cleared out and took for our own, probably 25 years ago. We have adventured around there ever since in Middle-earth. Strayhold was a natural name for the guild. :)
