That haunted castle?

Does anyone remember the name of that keep in Skyrim that had the ghostly soldiers who attack you, while pleading for you to run away, and apologizing? I came across it the other day during another quest and meant to come back to it, and of course now I don't remember what it was called...

I know it's west of Whiterun and slightly north. It's not such much a castle and more of a dwermer ruin that now is full of ghosts. It's directly south of a mountain pass as well against a cliff. I can't remember what it's called though.

Why not? That's awesome. And I see it on my map now!

Edit: Lol. Oh, wait, I get it. Ok.

A dwemer ruin!? Even better!

That's a Nordic crypt within sight of Whiterun I believe. Some necromancer trapped bandits and hunters all looking to get to the treasure chest by a word wall in the opening area. Rannveig's Fast.

I ran right for that chest and had enough time to think, "I'm an idiot," as I plunged down the hole into the trap below. The scene was redeemed when I looked up and saw my doggie Bran floating peacefully above me, as if disdainful of both my ineptitude and the laws of physics. Sometimes I dearly love this pos buggy game.

You were like me, you ran towards that word wall drooling, and then fell into that creepy -something's-basemant..

Edited because I highly doubt you can say what I wanted to say on these forums. :P

I'm still dissapointed about the fact that I can hurt ghosts with normal weapons.... Can you also hurt them with ice magic?

Nah, just your garden-variety sadistic mage conducting experiments no one else would possibly be interested in and keeping notes that don't contain any actual data. Tamriel seems to have a lot of those.

I somehow alerted the whole place to my presence once. You see I remembered the trap door so I jumped over it and learned the word wall. I was thinking of going and clearing the place anyway when I heard the sounds of combat. I turned and noticed a lot of red dots on my radar.

Apparently in my haste I failed to tell my follower to wait. He had fallen down inside and was now fighting bravely to get back to me LOL. He must have had lockpicks on him as I don't know how he got out of the locked cage.

Turned into a rescue mission haha...

They killed my dog. I do not like that place at all.

Come to think of it, my dogs seem to always get killed by ghosts. Yesterday I visited Arondil's cozy little ice hole and lost stray dog in the final battle. I'd just met him two hours earlier! I'm a terrible pet owner.
