Predict the ESO Metacritic Score

This is the best MMO to come out, nothing is even close.

Rift was absolute garbage. I tried several times to play it, never lasted more than 30 minutes, because it was so bad.

WOW was fun at the start but went straight downhill.

My only hope for this game is that the developers actually have some vision and are not going to cave in to the kiddie trolls who go around destroying every game with their "demands".

Please dont ever add dueling or arena or anything. The PVP should be one component the massive battle. If you want something else, go to another game.

The minute they start the dueling nonsense then of course all we will hear about is this is op and this needs to be this and then we will have wow, a bland, lifeless place where people duel all day while they smoke and drink.

Please show some backbone, dont listen to marketing, if you make the game right the money will roll in, if you listen to idiots, guaranteed it will fail like all the rest.

5 = this never happens.

6 = lol, dodge the bugs.

7 = game has "problems", or it's "yet another game the same as the rest".

8 = good, solid game.

9 = epic, ground breaking game.

10 = they purchase lots of adverts/it's a sequel and we'll be shot if we don't give it a 10/it's Doom.

I think I'd score ESO at an 8 - which is good for an MMO at launch. I can't think of any that really deserve a 9 - even wow (the most 'genre-defining' MMO had a 'troubled' launch).

Critic rating will be pretty good, 8.5 or maybe even 9. User rating will be about a 6, mostly because of the irritated ES fanbois that are mad about PvP being a major element in game will nerd rage there pretty hard. Two weeks or so after release when the fanbois are bored with their whining the user score will probably recover to 7-7.5 level.

Don't care about 'game scores'. But I'll humour the thread and say 7.5

My guesses for the Metacritic scores on the first day:

Reviewers: 78-83

Users: 59-64

Users will probably rank it lower in the first 24-48 hours realtime because of the slow leveling start for mmo types and because it isn't a single player TES experience where they have all the game resources to themselves for single player game types. User scores should increase over time the longer they stick with the game. Hopefully is the word.

Lots of professionals are as corrupted as Nigerian politicians
User rating is to often 0 or10 I would like an rating were the 0 and 10 was filtered.

Still dragon age 2 professional reviews was too high, 5-7 is ok for average action RPG #68844
User reviews of 0-1 is accurate as dragon age 2 is not related too DA:O but claims so

a 10 basically means "good"

professional game reviewers give out 10s like candy. unprofessional game reviewers (or rather, metacritic heroes) like to give out 0s for silly reasons just to balance it out.
