first updates came out on 13 for xbox

Could you make a little more sense please? Do you mean the new patch that was announced? And if you do, you do know that yesterday was the 13th, right?

Yours was probably just a general XBL update.

I have been away for a while. What is this update for? Is new DLC coming out?

Its a general patch. Its going to fix bugs, and tweak a few weapons. Its finished, and its currently being reviewed or whatever by Microsoft/Sony/Steam. Bethesda said they were holding back on the DLC until this patch was out, so make of that what you will.

Well, if there is a patch actually out on Xbox, how about giving us some news on it? Has it fixed anything? Is this topic a lie?

I checked on my version and there was nothing. Presumably TC confused an XBL update with one for New Vegas.

How many updates have there been so far because I downloaded and Update for New Vegas yesterday that was 4MB.

Dont know if that's a new one, Steam updates automatically, could have been updated when I wasnt around. Doubt it though.

I just played New Vegas this afternoon and no update came up. My bet is next week for the update.

I got an update the other day as well. I figured it was just to fix something and not actually part of the big patch they are planning. I had played the night before and there was no patch but when I got on in the afternoon I got kicked out of the XBL party I had been in. To my surprise there was an update. I wish on XBL on the right side it would say what the patch did for that game. It'd be nice if this was some indication something is comming sooner than expected but I think its just something routine. Anyways take care guys.

I'm pretty sure on Xbox if you don't play a game for a while it removes the patch and you have to re download it. You also have to re download patches if you clear your cache so this just sounds like the previous patch no new one :cryvaultboy:.

Actually, the reason the DLC (Honest Hearts) Has been delayed, is because their finishing the patch and fixing bugs and problems. Good choice. Now after the patch is released, Honest Hearts WILL be released soon after. Check out these links.
