Are there any negative effects to being either a vampire or werewolf?
Are there any negative effects to being either a vampire or werewolf?
Fire weakness for vamps, poison weakness for werewolves. Both will die horribly if focused with fighter guild abilities.
Vampires also have reduced health regeneration, to a degree depending on how long they've gone since feeding.
The cons for both far outweigh the pros. You will likely die far more often as either, though that certainly won't stop me from becoming a vampire.
Do werewolf suffer from the cons even if ur not transformed?
I could be wrong but it seems like a vampire would have it worse as there seems to be a lot more fire in the game than anything.
I'm not sure about this, but I do know that there is a timer on becoming a werewolf and you cannot use other abilities while you're in werewolf form. You're stuck using your werewolf only skills. You'd also be surprised how many classes have poison attacks. Not to mention that anyone who invests in the Fighters Guild abilities and perks will kill you with ease.
Vampires do however get some very cool stealth abilities and are more effective at night.
stack fire resist enchants, spell resist as a breton and the fire dmg wont do nearly as much as it does normally, still will hurt tho.......yet just play smart and dont stand in aoe fire attacks, oil in pvp etc etc, if u take on a DK just make sure to use ur cc and defensive cooldowns and theoretically u should be fine....drain life.....epic skill, heals u + 3 sec stun, with a nightblade thats almost op because u can jsut pop into stealth come back and feed which with passives ads another 2.5sec stun.
For better of for worse, I'm sticking with it. I'll treat it as a blessing and a curse.
what you stack as fire resist you dont get it as another helpful stat.
though im still looking forward to be a werewolf ... ARHOooooOOH!
So if you get the cure, the points invested stay invested correct? They don't get refunded to you?
Well, considering you're either choosing Necrophilia or Bestiality, I think the Social Stigma associated would be disadvantage enough
As if cats and lizards weren't bad enough..
