I already posted a topic about this but decided to make it into a poll instead. I'd like to see how many of you would like to see the option of deity affiliation in the game. I missed a LOT of known deities of Tamriel in this poll so please tell me if I missed your favorite! For information about all the deities in Elder Scrolls, visit the website in my signature. It has everything you'd ever need to know about them.

I just added another list of those that I couldn't add in the first! If your favorite isn't in the first list, check none of these and then search in the second list. Also, I am aware that some of these deities may have come after the time setting of ESO, this poll is just for fun and it's just to see who likes what!

If there is a sort of worshipping system, I would appreciate a sort of passive. I would also appreciate a sort of anti-daerdra enforcement within the factions (with perhaps, the dunmer as an exception) given how the daedra are generally rendered as 'bad' in comparison to the divines. But I suppose most of us would go daedra anyway....speaking of which, I don't see an option for Sithis.

I could only add so many to the options, I would have loved to add at LEAST ten more to this list but it only let me add 20 lol.... I thought about Sithis and Lorkhan and about 7 other daedra, and more.

Ah, well, that is a predicament....perhaps gross categories (i.e the 'good' daedra like Azura/Meridia).

But, oh well, we can all deal with a few exempts. what is important is that you have deities like Sheogorath up there, you pretty much nailed all of the important ones.

This is a really cool idea. One thing I would like them to add is an option that players can pick which intentionally states them being independent and not following a deity, sectarian/atheism-esque if you will.

I would strongly be against a stat bonus as it might as well be "what stat point do you want\follow" at that point. I wouldn't be opposed the other ideas though!

Please, please, please let me a priestess of Dibella. Or a disciple, or whatever kind of servant she would need in the world. I'd love a bonus, but I'd do without. I'd be happy with even just a title. But a questline would be the best. Religion is so important to the lore and structure of a world; we really need to be able to participate in worshiping the Divines.

I also don't believe they should add a state bonus personally because I feel it would take away from the role-playing aspect, people wouldn't choose a deity for their own beliefs of which god they like more, but just because they want another stat bonus. It wouldn't mean anything after that. The only reason why I added it in this poll is because I felt most wouldn't care about the option of choosing a god if there wasn't something "in it for them" if you catch my drift. It's a sad thought but a lot of players won't know who a single one of these gods are. Also I agree, I think it should be optional to choose a god/religion. Because like I said, even Tamriel has Atheists also to what Abeille said, I agree with that most definitely lol I'm going to have a lot of characters that would hypothetically all have different affiliations

I would pick Mephala first, but if I could pick multiples, I would pick Mephala, Vaermina, and Hircine.

Picking multiples is also something that would be favorable. Daedra, for example, are enemies with some specific daedra and allied with others, so being affiliated with a few that are similar in nature would be cool. Also the Divines don't exactly hate each other because they aren't like that, so being a disciple of them ALL should be feasible as well.

Agreed. That reminds me of another thing that would be convenient for them to add with this, a brief description of what the nature of each deity is, who they are, what they stand for, etc. For those that aren't too familiar with any of them.

Put "All Maker" in place of "Talos" since Talos doesn't exist yet.

I actually already made a note in my first comment that some of these may not exist yet considering the setting of the game is quite early. This poll is just for fun

I totally understand and agree with what you said. I chose dibela since I couldn't see sanguine. quest lines would be cool, but that would be a lot of work from zos. a title would be cool
