How do you feel knowing staff damage is increased by stamina

In this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiUATvbFDUQ Mystborn tested and found out that staff attack damage is increased by STAMINA, just like Sword/Dagger damage is...

I was a bit surprised about this.... it makes no sense for me that a warrior should have better results when casting the staff fire attack compared to a mage...

Staff critical is done via Spell Critical... so right now the staff needs Stamina AND Spell Crit... a strange combination. I think they should change it to Magicka and Spell Crit.... it is a caster weapon after all.

How do you feel about it?

Agreed. It should be magicka based, not stamina. That has never made sense to me. As a pure caster I don't want to have to put any points into stamina at all.

Would be interesting to try a full stamina build.

Well it needs spell crit for crits... so a full stamina build won`t do that well as you will have no crit...

You need to do like a stamina build with SPELL crit... so you will be a light armor wearing stamina stacking mage... makes no sense.

I think it's a good thing. A "mage" type character is traditionally more about abilities than autoattacks, plus it's a balancing factor for pure magicka characters; which suffer almost no drawbacks otherwise compared to pure stamina characters.
