So my client has been downloading the 22gb all over again when I chose to play on the EU server. Its been downloading for the past nine and a half hours. It was 1.5gb before the download was finished and as I was sitting on the computer in front of the screen, the launcher suddenly opened a window telling me that I had decided to cancel the download and that the launcher is set to auto-update.

After closing the window I find out that the download had been cancelled and that now the launcher is starting to download the 22gb all over again.

Why is this happening? what do I need to do? (I have a backup of the original folder)

Try disabling the auto update.... and then do a repair. Instructions are here:

I tried following what the guy there wrote about setting auto update to 'never' but now I don't have the option to repair. Instead, it gives me the option to install, which prompts the 22gb download. I hope someone will have a fix for this.
