Would love to know what class you are playing because the exp gains are pretty slow IMO.
Zenimax said, that they adjustet the leveling, so that is a bit faster in early game, and a bit slower later.
Feels slow to me. At least in comparison with most other MMO and Skyrim. It's taken me many hours to get to level 8. In a lot of games you can reach level 10 in under an hour. That being said, the leveling curve is supposed to get much steeper as you level, so I wouldn't worry too much.
He / she didn't say they wanted it faster. *Facepalm*
Says you , So far i reached level 18 Between the past 3 betas. Level 1 to 10 was pretty fast paced yes . That is if all your doing is questing and killing crap. If you spend time exploring , looking for all the skyshards and lorebooks you would slow down a bit i am sure. Oh and don't forget harvesting from nodes to craft . That take up alot of time as well . Remember there are much more aspects to the game than just questing. So before you go on about your opinion on slowing down the xp . Think before you go on a rant . =)
My vote is that the pace is just fine. I can feel it slowing as I level and that is what I expect. Don't make an issue where there is none. Level a character to the cap and then chime in on the pace of leveling in my opinion.
WTH are you going to learn about you character and class in the first 10 levels of 50? You cannot even do a secondary setup until you are level 25!!! Now I am certainly not saying 1-10 needs to go by in an hour but taking days to hit level 10 is on the oprder of EQ 1 level and you won't sell any subscriptions to casual players with that kind of setup. Keep in mind not everyone playing the game has 15 hours a day to dedicate to playing this game.
It's not quite as slow as original EQ was and thankfully it's not WoW 1-10 speed but it could use some adjustment.
Casual MMO players are the bulk group that play the game and need to level at a faster pace than is currently provided or they get bored and move on to something where they feel like they are getting their money's worth. Sure they want to get to end game just like the hardcoes. They just want it handed to them free, which I disagree with. The group you are talking about are the RPGers that want to RP through the whole game leveling only when they accidently do it.
