Anyone else bored?

Because they assume that's what everyone wants, or is the biggest way to break into the WoW market. I'll continue to wait for an enhanced EQ1 that I'll never probably get. I mean fluid factions, alcohol tolerance skills, languages, dark game play that required torches/spells, killable npcs, harsh learning curves, actual exploration I.el ridable boats, ect in vanilla. There was so much depth in that game that has gone to the wayside for streamlined superficial worlds. That's how a ESO feels. Such a waste.

But really grouping is one of the main reasons to play an MMO. The interaction adds depth to the other pcs, instead of just seeing 100 other people going through the same solo on rails content.

It's pointless for them to even bother. They haven't built up a game that requires group mechanics.

Actually yes. Yes I am. They're second only to EA in angering their customers.

Simple really. Active participation in many aaspects of online gaming. But hey.. Google/Bing is your friend.

I have been playing this beta for the first time, just reached lv10 but knowing my characters will be deleted once it's over, kinda makes me feel bored too. I am thinking of slowing it down, that way when the release comes out, I can experience the levels later on before getting bored of it, and my character won't be deleted.

Also might be because I entered Cyrodill and was quite disappointed on what they did to it (Was expecting like Morrowind, cities full of quests and mobs, running around trying to help. Instead we got pvp, one shot by guards in the cities if they aren't on your side, can't even swim across to IC without getting killed, and then there's the threat of pvpers. I had the fun for my UI to mess up and I could not see anyone, so I got killed by unknown enemies. And then there's the Wayshrine where it will take forever to get back there. I wish it was a area that hadn't actually being released in the ESO like the black Marsh or Summerset Isles)

Well, I respect your opinions, and we have to agree to disagree.

I would rather see this MMO live up there with the other successful MMO that shall not be named, than to see it join the MMO graveyard after a year or 2.

for PvE this is true - except for the occasional boss that is just way silly overpowered.

But getting to that boss is usually a cake walk. In the future though I expect them to make the boss easier rather than making the climb to him more difficult and requiring some group efforts.

How do people spend money on MMOs is just beyond me. What a huge timesink for such small payoff.
