Sound problems with the Prophet

Post » Mon Mar 17, 2014 12:12 am

During the Prophet's history lesson the reverb on the Prophet's voice was over the top. I adjusted my settings for ambience, music, amd background to hear what he was saying as we walked but when I removed all other sounds so that I could hear him the reverb (echo level) was so over the top I still could only make out every second word. This is a big part of the immersion and needs to be fixed.

I found that he default sound volume for voices is at 70% so I turned it up to 100% and it did help some. There are still some very soft lines though as if the voice actor was leaning back to grab a brewskie while still recording his line.

I also experienced this issue, but I'm not surprised in the slightest to see that Jesuis Cache-Cache has reported it over the last four betas and it hasn't been fixed.

It's just a bad file. It breaks down half way through the thing and I cannot hear what the story is. It's an important core of the entire main storyline of the game.

Strange, I don't have different problem with the Prophet, when his monoluge is at some point offset by one paragraph at some point of the conversation, like the sound file cannot find the proper place.
